My name is Bonnie Brodnik, I first started my business BLACK FRIESIAN IMPORTS when I imported my own Star Stallion, Tsjimme B about 6 years ago. In searching for my Friesian partner, I gained valuable relationships and friendships with breeders in Holland. One of them I now call my partner, Leny Haytema. Leny is a well-respected Friesian Judge who is also very well versed in all aspects of breeding. We work as a team, selling and importing these beautiful Friesian Horses all over the World. Leny has been in the business for over 25 years. Our goal is to match horse to rider. We predominantly focus on dressage prospects Sport horses with early driving training. We have found that our returning clientele continue to be interested in the outstanding qualities that our Friesians exhibit ~ with character, confirmation and 3 GOOD GAITS topping the list
Early driving training gains strength required for the horse to become more naturally balanced and supple, especially for the discipline of dressage, all while learning the necessary commands needed before ever putting any weight on his or her back. The horse is then correctly started under saddle with a fantastic foundation built on developmental training and understanding. This creates the COMPLETE TOTAL PACKAGE
